Thankful Thursday

 Today, we are thankful for a lot of new friends! 

A little over a week ago, I went to visit my friend, Logan's, cats while they were in boarding. They traveled to Denver a little ahead of when Logan moved here. I am very excited to have another friend nearby, and I was happy to meet his kitties after hearing about them for so many years. 

This is Keebler. He came right up to me when I walked into their boarding room. He is so friendly and sweet! He ate up all the pets and treats I was giving him. He's a sweetheart.

This is Ayden. I couldn't get a good photo of him in boarding. He didn't want to look at the camera. He is a really sweet mancat. He loved being pet, and he loved the treats I brought. He stayed near me and purred while I loved on him.

This is Terra. She is a dilute calcio. She is a very lovely girl. She kept giving me headbonks! She also loved being pet and the treats I brought. 

This is Chloe. Chloe is a spicy girl! She was not a happy camper. When I first arrived, she had wedged herself in a tiny corner between the kennel and the wall. She got upset and gave Keebler a few smacky paws. After I settled on the floor with the others, she came out and observed us from a distance. I tried to give her some treats, but she was not interested, and I knew she didn't want to be pet. So, my friend Steve (who went with me) and I just talked to her and told her what a pretty girl she is. 

By the time I left, Chloe let me get within a few feet of her before she started hissing and growling. Logan tells me she is just a spicy girl in general. I told Chloe that we will be friends someday. At least, I hope we will be. 

I am looking forward to getting to spend more time with Logan and our new kitty friends now that they are settled into their new home here!
