Tiki Cat Gourmet Carnivore Variety Pack Review

FTC Disclosure: As part of the Chewy Blogger Outreach Program, we received a Tiki Cat Gourmet Carnivore Variety Pack of cat food for a fair and honest review.  Receiving the cat food did not influence my (or my cats') opinions.  All opinions expressed on Fur Everywhere are my (and my cats') own.  Chewy.com is not responsible for the content of this article.

Carmine checks out some Tiki Cat canned cat food.

I was delighted when I saw that Chewy.com was offering us the opportunity to try the Tiki Cat Gourmet Carnivore Variety Pack.  I know that Tiki Cat is a high-quality food, and I wondered if Carmine and Milita might like some of the flavor combinations offered in the variety pack.

The Tiki Cat Gourmet Carnivore Variety Pack includes 12 cans of cat food in a variety of flavors.  The pack includes:

  • Beef & Liver (one can).
  • Bonito Tuna (one can).
  • Seabass (one can).
  • Chicken with Turkey (two cans).
  • Beef Liver & Chicken (one can).
  • Tilapia (one can).
  • Chicken with Duck (two cans).
  • Beef Liver & Lamb (one can).
  • Chicken & Liver (two cans).
The Tiki Cat Gourmet Carnivore Variety Pack has many benefits including:
  • The cat food has a zero glycemic index.
  • Made with whole meats.
  • The recipes don't contain any grain or gluten.
  • The food also contains no carbohydrates, flour, or starch.
  • Is 55% protein, 35% fat, and 0% carbohydrates.
  • Has added vitamins, minerals, and trace minerals.
  • It meets the nutritional levels set by the AAFCO for All Life Stages.
Milita enjoys some Tiki Cat Chicken with Turkey canned cat food.

As you can see, Milita enjoyed the Chicken with Turkey formula.

Carmine enjoys some Tiki Cat Chicken with Turkey cat food.

Carmine also enjoyed it.

In fact, Carmine and Milita have enjoyed all of the flavors they've tried.  They've tried every formula except for the fish ones (Tilapia, Seabass, and Bonito Tuna) because they can't eat fish.

I was a little surprised by the water-to-meat ratio in some of the cans.  I was concerned that Carmine would only lap up the liquid and leave the meat like he often does.  However, he's eaten the meat and the liquid with these formulas.

You can try the Tiki Cat Gourmet Carnivore Variety Pack for yourself by ordering it from Chewy.com.  Right now, this variety pack is $17.49.  Don't forget that your order of $49 or more ships for free as well.

  1. After some consideration, I discovered I loved them. TW doesn't care if I just lap the broth since I don't drink water.

  3. Mom has read several good reviews about Tiki Cat. She's hoping Chewy will offer it for review again so we can try it. We are so super picky, she rather not buy it and have to send back if we don't like it. Thanks for the review. 4. I'm happy to hear that you both enjoyed this food, Carmine and Milita. I also have some kitties prone to lapping the liquid rather than eating the actual food, so I'm interested to see if mine will eat this up as well. Thanks for sharing! Purrs!

  7. We have to eat a prescription diet here (Toby does, actually, so I do too). We don't usually mind but occasionally we like to make Mom spice it up for us. Just because we can.

  10. I'm so happy to hear that Carmine liked both the meat and broth! Actually if you compare the moisture content of the Tiki with other, pate brands, I bet there's not much difference. It's just the Tiki isn't ground up into something that doesn't resemble real meat.

  12. YUM!!

Not sure if Minko would enjoy those, as he seems to prefer pate noms.
Pipo would likely gobble them up!
