My friend D spent a lot of time with Jewel in her last few years of life. We all lived together as housemates for a while, and sometimes D told me he would put music on and dance around the kitchen with Jewel! When he told me this, I couldn't believe it. Jewel didn't enjoy being held much - I couldn't imagine she'd like to dance around. But D swore it was true - and he told me he and Jewel danced in the kitchen more than once! I wish I could have seen that - it would have been priceless. :)
That is so sweet. I'm sure it is true and a great memory.
