It has been an incredibly busy week here, and it's not over yet!
Last night, I had the great pleasure of seeing Jewel, the singer/songwriter/author talk about her book, sing, and sign her new book.
Before going, I knew a little about Jewel's life, but during her talk, I learned so much more about her. Her book sounds amazing, and I can't wait to start reading it!
So you're probably wondering what Jewel the singer has to do with Jewel the cat.
You might remember this post where I told you about how Jewel liked to run on top of her former owner's couch and sing while he played Rock Band. Well, Jewel's former owner had an mp3 player that we always listened to in the car when we were going somewhere. Whenever Jewel (the singer) came on, I would say, "Doesn't Jewel (referring to the cat) sing nice?"
Last night, I told Jewel (the singer) that I had a cat named Jewel. Her response was, "I love that!"
