Jewel's Journey

Jewel, a dilute tortoiseshell Egyptian Mau mix, lays on the floor by a Yeowww catnip fish.
Have I ever told you about the first time I discovered Jewel loved catnip?  It's a really cute story.

Shortly after I became friends with Jewel's former owner, I went to visit them at their home.  I set my purse down on the couch, forgetting that I had bought a Yeowww! catnip banana earlier that day and had put it in my purse to give to Carmine and Milita later.

A little while, later I went to get something out of my purse and found Jewel with her head stuck in it!  I wondered what on earth she was doing in there.  Then I remembered that I had a Yeowww! banana stowed away in my purse.  Her former owner had told me he didn't know if she liked catnip or not.  Turns out, she did!

Over the years, I bought her several Yeowww! toys and loose catnip to enjoy.  I bought her the fish in the photo above for her 16th birthday.

Carmine and Milita are also big fans of catnip.

    I don't know how any cat can't love the Yeowww! catnip toys - they are amazing!

    We love catnip toys and Mum puts some nip in a bag with some of our toys in it which sends us all silly.

    The Yeowww toys are probably one of our favorite nip toys. Even after a few years of playing with them, we still love them.

    Most of mine do like it and others get a little too excited by it so we have to monitor their nip intake!

    That's such a cute story. Truffles wasn't a huge catnip lover but she was crazy about her nip nanner.

    Surprisingly our kitties don't really seem to respond to catnip - I think I need to get them some of the more potent stuff!

    I LOVE my Nip Nanner. I have to keep it away from the brofurs but not Miss Fitz. The nip is not her thing.

    That's such a great story! Zoe LOVE catnip. Moosey and Gracie like it, too, but not like Zoe. :)
