Dr. Pepper

Photo from Denver Dumb Friends League.
On Saturday, I attended CatFest and had the opportunity to spend a little time with this handsome tuxedo mancat. He is really affectionate and friendly and didn't seem at all disturbed by all the strangers going in and out of his room (it was the only room I know of that they were letting people in unless you wanted to adopt a cat).
According to his shelter profile, Dr. Pepper's favorite things are attention, sleeping, treats, and playing. He would do very well in a home where he gets a lot of attention. The shelter thinks he is approximately four years old.
Dr. Pepper has tested positive for FIV, but don't let that stop you from giving him a loving home. FIV cannot be transmitted to humans or dogs and is only transmitted to cats through penetrating bite wounds. FIV+ cats can and do live long, healthy lives.
You can meet Dr. Pepper at the Denver Dumb Friends League Quebec Street shelter, located at 2080 S. Quebec St. in Denver, CO. You can also call the shelter for more information about him at 303-751-5772. Refer to his ID: A0706691.
We're purring that Dr. Pepper becomes someone's Pepper soon. :)
