Tails is an adorable orange senior mancat with long hair waiting for his forever home.  He was found and brought to MaxFund as an injured stray.  According to his profile, when he initially came to the shelter, he had a big neck wound and was quite thin.  With the help of MaxFund, his wound has healed and he has filled out some.  

Tails is a nice, gentle mancat who loves attention.  If you scratch his head a little, he'll start purring up a storm for you!  He is also a little shy being around his rommates and tends to keep to himself.  You can often find him hanging out on one of the high places in his room.  Be sure to look for him if you visit because he doesn't want to miss his chance to show you what an awesome mancat he is!

Tails is a special needs kitty as he has tested positive for FIV.  Please don't let that stop you from adoption him, though.  FIV+ cats can (and do) live long, happy lives.  FIV cannot be transmitted to humans or dogs and can only be transmitted to other cats through penetrating bites.
