Socks is a handsome oriental mix mancat awaiting his forever home.  According to his profile, Socks is talkative and gentle.  He is not a traditional lap cat, but the shelter reports that he will allow you to hold him for a while.  

Socks loves treats!  He also enjoys playing with fishing pole toys.  He will allow you to rub his tummy occasionally, and he likes being groomed with a soft brush rather than a slicker brush or comb.  

Socks is a special needs kitty.  He is insulin dependent and has Irritable Bowel Disease.  He requires special food and insulin injections twice a day.

    He's gorgeous, and I love that he's a talkative guy. When you said he'll "sometimes" let you rub his belly it reminds me of the cat meme with the saying "I'll let you rub my belly, exactly 3 times" lol. I hope he finds his forever home soon.
