Opt to Adopt David Draiman

Do you remember yesterday's post where Carmine said I was cheating on him with another mancat?  Did you wonder who that mancat was?  The wait is over!

David Draiman is a very handsome orange tabby Domestic Shorthair.  He is a bit nervous and shy around new people at first, but he is friendly and really enjoys being petted.  I met David at Denver Cat Company last week, and he seemed a bit scared at times, but there was a lot going on that night (a painting class and a book signing!).  Once a group of us sat down by him, David felt comfortable enough to curl up in *his* chair to take a nap.



David is approximately three years old.  He has been diagnosed with FIV, but he is healthy, and FIV+ cats can live just as long as FIV- cats.  It's also important to note that FIV positive and negative cats can reside together in the same home.  David would do best in a calm, quiet home.  He gets along with other cats, children, and adults.

    What a handsome mancat! Mom's Angel Binky Baby was FIV+ and not an agressive kitty at all so she didn't worry about the FIV+ being passed on to her sisters. Cat bites to other kitties is how it gets spread.
