Jewel - Over the Rainbow Bridge

On Thursday night, we had to help Jewel cross to the Rainbow Bridge.  We are very sad and upset about this.

A memorial post and commentathon will come soon.  It's just too painful right now.

    Poor little Jewel. She went through a lot, and at least now she's free of suffering. We understand all too well that doesn't help your grief, though. So we're sending soft purrs and wish you peace on the other side of your grief journey.

    We are so very sad and sorry for your loss.....we send purrs and prayers and hugs.....we know it hurts to lose a loved one. No doubt Jewel is having a reunion with all those who have gone before and brightening her spot over the Bridge now just as she brightened the lives of her family and friends here.

    We are so sorry that Jewel has had to leave and cross the Rainbow Bridge. It is the kindest act you can ever do when your dear friend is ill and will not recover and hope that knowledge will sustain you at this sad time. Take care.

    I'm so sorry to hear that Jewel has gone to the Bridge. It's never easy saying goodbye to a furbaby. You did all you could for your sweet girl, but sometimes it just isn't enough.     I am so sorry for the loss of your wonderful Jewel; I know you love her, and helping her go was the sweetest thing you could ever do for her; I know the feeling, as I had to let Nico go at 5 years old due to HCM. Helping your beloved pets is the best thing for them when they need it. I know Jewel and Nico are playing in kitty heaven right now; with lots of toys, treats, and health, and love. Please know that death ends a life...NOT a relationship.

    We are very sorry, my big brofur left for the bridge Thursday morning- he was planning on a party with several old furiends, I'm sure he welcomed Jewel with some tasty salmon. Peace to you & yours,
