About the Treats
Pet Naturals Hip and Joint treats for cats contain high-quality all natural ingredients, which include:
- Glucosamine HCl: Glucosamine is a natural anti-inflammatory and helps form and repair tissues in the body, such as cartilage. Glucosamine increases a cat's mobility by improving joint health.
- Methylsulfonylmethane (MSM): MSM is a sulfur compound that is thought to reduce joint inflammation and pain and increase joint flexibility.
- Chondroitin Sulfate: Chondroitin is another natural substance that further benefits your cat's joint health when it is combined with glucosamine.
- N,N-Dimethylglycine HCl (DMG): DMG is an intermediary metabolite that increases the use of oxygen in the body's tissues.
The Results
The treats we reviewed are chicken liver flavor and come in the shape of little fish (which the Mom thinks is really cute).
Carmine: *sniff sniff* What's inside? Mom, hurry and open the bag for mes!
When I offered Carmine a treat, he happily gobbled it down. He loves them! He kept looking for more and more treats.
Milita was more interested in the bag than the treats. I offered her a treat several times, but she wasn't interested. I'm not surprised. Milita is extremely picky about her treats.
Since Jewel hasn't been feeling well and spends most of her time in the kitty cubes these days, I brought her into the kitchen - cube and all - so she could try the treats, too.
She also loved them!
In fact, since I started feeding her the Pet Naturals Hip and Joint treats, she has been moving around a little more. She has been getting out of her cube and socializing a little more than she was before. I think any improvement in her pain is fantastic!

ReplyDeleteOur Mum takes Glucosamine and Chondroitin for the arthritis in her left hand - or should be say her left paw! Maybe we should get her some of those treats to see if they help her.
ReplyDeleteLuv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
Those treats sound YUMMY! Delilah has luxating patellas (floating kneecaps), so she suffers from pain and arthritis, so perhaps I should try out some of these treats for her! We are purring for Jewel and hope that her pain goes away.
