Cairo is a beautiful black domestic shorthair. Cairo came to the shelter when her person passed away. She misses her person, but she's looking forward to making a great kitty companion for someone new. Cairo enjoys being pet and brushed, and sometimes she'll even take a nap in your lap, if it's her idea. She also likes to pounce on toys being dragged along the floor.
Cairo is a very sweet senior cat; she's approximately 13 and a half years old. She is in the Perpet-U-Care program, which will cover a portion of her healthcare for the rest of her life.
Cairo is spayed, up-to-date on her vaccinations, and litterbox trained. She would love a nice quiet home. You can find this beautiful, sweet kitty in the upstairs hallway at Cat Care Society, located at 5787 W. 6th Avenue in Lakewood, CO.
June is Adopt a Shelter Cat Month! You can adopt any adult cat aged 6 months to 9 years for $45 and any pair of adult cats for $75 this month.
Oh, we wish her the best of luck! Hopefully some family will come along, realize she is still young and find out how great she is.
