Thank you so very much to everyone who responded to my last post!!! You have no idea how much your friendship and words of encouragement and kindness mean to me. I feel so blessed to have found such fantastic, compassionate, and caring friends on the cat blogosphere! I don't feel so alone with all of you here with me, people who truly understand what this is like.
Tonight, I gave Jewel her very favorite canned food - Fancy Feast Fish and Shrimp Feast. I haven't seen her chow down like that in quite some time!!! :) I think we better get her more of that! She only has one can left of that flavor, so I'll be sure to pick some up while I'm grocery shopping later.
I took this photo of beautiful Jewel last night.
Jewel: This look like a good kitty story! Will you read it to me?
Way to go Jewel, now then, chow down a little more please. We are all sending you lots of purrs and gentle hugs.
ReplyDeleteI agree, my fellow bloggers make me feel special too! It's like an extended family.
ReplyDeleteGood luck and very best wishes are sent your way.
We're glad Jewel ate her food! We continue to purr for her and hope she continues to have many good days.
ReplyDeleteGo, Jewel! We know you can keep eating! The blogosphere is a great resource for both knowledge and comfort, since so many have "been there, done that." We're purring for Jewel and you, too.
ReplyDeleteYAY Jewel!!! Fancy Feast Shrimp used to be one of my Angel Bobo's faves!!

That is great news that Jewel ate so well! I do love the Cat Blogosphere for their love and support.
ReplyDeleteGlad Jewel enjoyed her FF. Sending purrs to her and to you.
ReplyDeleteSounds like that fish and shrimp just might be the purrfect thing for right now. Hope you and Jewel had a snuggly evening and you were able to enjoy that book together. Every moment you two can share will be precious memories. Purrs and hugs from the kitties at The Cat on My Head, Lily Olivia, Misty May, Mauricio, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Josette
ReplyDeleteThat is so encouraging. Keep it up, Jewel …. I mean down! xox
ReplyDeleteGood job, sweet Jewel! Keep right on chowing down like that, okay? :)
ReplyDeleteWay to go, Jewel. Keep chomping on that Fancy Feast. Purrrrrrrrr
ReplyDeleteWe are glad to see Jewel is doing better and eating some. We apologize for missing your last post. Kidney disease is tough because it doesn't get better and you have to deal with it as it comes. Love helps a lot. I've had cats with both chronic and acute kidney disease, and you can always talk to me if you need to.
